Holly Turner (BS, RLATG, CMAR, CPIA), works at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory managing the Animal Care Facilities as well as supporting the small program as an IACUC Administrator. She has worked in research since 1998, specializing in setting up small rodent programs for biotechs and enhancing existing programs. Holly actively participates in the Bay Area IACUC Administrators group. Bringing her experience of managing nude mouse colonies and staff for oncology research in industry, teaching biomethods to research staff and investigators at UC Berkeley, or running the rodent program at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, Holly has served as a point person for compliance and improvements in animal welfare in research for many years. Holly graduated from California State University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science.
