Qualitative Data Repository
Dessislava (Dessi) Kirilova, MA, has been at the Qualitative Data Repository (www.qdr.org) since its founding and currently works as the repository’s senior curation specialist. Since 2016 she has also served as a key researcher on the “Working with Sensitive Research Data” initiative aimed at developing strategies for ethically and legally sharing sensitive human participant data. Trained as a social scientist, her related interests are in educating social science researchers in good data practices, starting in the research planning stages. In addition to working with depositors directly and leading QDR's curation team, she publishes and teaches on topics around qualitative data management, curation and sharing, the ethics of data sharing, and research transparency in the social sciences broadly conceived.
