Karah Greene, MSW is Deputy Director of the University of South Florida School of Social Work ACCESS Lab. She is passionate about addressing social justice issues and promoting health equity. Her research interests include improving access to quality healthcare among underserved populations, the study and implementation of scientific practices to improve community trust in research and medicine, and interventions to address and alleviate negative health outcomes stemming from sexual violence. Currently, she is the study coordinator for a multi-site research project, "Evaluating the impact of incentives on clinical trial participation", and "From ambivalence to action -- using a conversational agent or 'chatbot' to support smoking cessation: a proof-of-concept study", as well as the Tampa site coordinator for a multi-site study, "A Solution to Halt Further Isolation of People Aging with HIV During the COVID-19 Pandemic". She is currently applying to PhD programs for Fall 2023 admission. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dogs, Emerson and Maya, crocheting, writing poetry, and cooking.
