Gene Pope, J.D., is the Director of Conflicts of Interest Review and Management at the University of Georgia. In his position, Mr. Pope's Office administers campus-wide compliance initiatives for Conflicts of Interest (COI) and Conflicts of Commitment (COC) that support the University's extensive research program and other program initiatives. Mr. Pope is responsible for managing the efficient review and approval of disclosures through the COI review process, and he is also responsible for providing communication and education regarding COI and COC to the campus community.
