Robin joined Clemson University in 2020 to lead the Office of Research Compliance. Her high-performing team promotes integrity and regulatory compliance in research by administering the Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). She also serves as the Research Integrity Officer (RIO) and her office promotes education in the Responsible Conduct of Research. Prior to her position at Clemson, Robin was the Director of the Office of Research Protections at Appalachian State University. She had a past life in the private sector, working for IBM and later Lenovo in various quality, compliance and leadership positions. Robin earned her MS in Bioethics from Clarkson University in conjunction with the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2019. She was recently given the honor of chairing the Accessibility Commission at Clemson through 2024.
