DHHS Office for Human Research Protections
Michael Stidham, PT, DPT, ATC is a Program Specialist for the Division of Policy and Assurances at the HHS Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP). He joined OHRP in 2022 from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), Department of Physical Therapy where he served as the lead Physical Therapist in Primary Care. Dr. Stidham received master-clinician recognition at WRNMMC, served as a musculoskeletal preceptor for the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, and was a primary member on the WRNMMC Institutional Review Board for five years. Prior to federal service, he was a Clinic Director for a large outpatient Physical Therapy network. Dr. Stidham received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Emory and Henry College.
