Amy Ben-Arieh, JD, MPH is the Director of Research Compliance of The Fenway Institute (TFI) at Fenway Health, an urban community health center with a mission to enhance the wellbeing of the LGBTQIA+ community and all people through access to the highest quality health care, education, research and advocacy. She is a member of the Harvard Catalyst Regulatory Foundations, Ethics, and Law Program’s subcommittee on Social, Behavioral, and Education Research and serves on the Board of Directors of for the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP). Amy writes and speaks on health equity, research ethics, and inclusive research oversight practices. She created the first LGBTQIA+ Equity in Human Subject Research training for Public Responsibility in Medicine & Research (PRIM&R). Prior to joining TFI, Amy served as an Associate Chair of Mass General Brigham Human Research Committee. Her educational background is in health law, bioethics, and human rights.
