PRIMR23/SBER23 Registration and Fees
Please review the information on this page before registering as some of our registration policies have changed.
Please note the following:
- Each person must register themselves to ensure all contact information and registration selections are correct. We are no longer allowing one person to register multiple people at a time online, but one person can still pay for multiple people (see below).
- Upon clicking the registration button below, login using your PRIM&R credentials (either by hitting Register on this screen or you will be prompted to once you add something to your cart). If you don't have a PRIM&R account, create one. If you do not remember your password, follow the system prompts. If you have a new email address, contact registration@primr.org to update. Do not create a new account.
- You must register for each offering (e.g., SBER23, PRIMR23, PRIMR23 Workshops, etc.). Registration for SBER23 and the PRIMR23 Workshops are not included in PRIMR23 registration. Attendees can go to SBER23 or a PRIMR23 Workshop only.
- The Virtual Meeting includes content from SBER23 and PRIMR23 (December 3-6); you can't select specific days. Attendees can register for in-person programming on December 3 only (SBER23 and PRIMR23 Workshops) plus the Virtual Meeting. The PRIMR23 Workshops are NOT included in the virtual meeting; these programs are in-person only.
- In-person registration closes December 1; virtual meeting registration closes on December 6.
- Review below about how to obtain the government, emerging professionals, and student rates before your register.
- Review our registration policies (below). You agree to these policies when you register.
The schedule will be as follows (to help you with navigating registration):
- December 3: SBER23
- December 3: PRIMR23 Workshops (in-person, half and full day courses; you cannot attend both SBER23 and the Workshops)
- December 4: PRIMR23; content on human subjects research (HSR), animal care and use (ACU), crossover topics, institutional leadership topics
- December 5: PRIMR23; content on HSR, ACU, crossover topics, institutional leadership topics
- December 6: PRIMR23; content on HSR and crossover topics only

The member rate is available to PRIM&R members only. You can purchase and pay for membership
during registration when prompted by the system. If you want to
renew your membership at time of conference registration, renew your membership
first and then register for the conference (to renew,
login to your PRIM&R account, click on the profile icon, select Memberships and Subscriptions, and then start the process for renewal). Renewal begins when your current membership expires.

CAREB-ACCER members that are not PRIM&R members can register at the PRIM&R member rate. CAREB-ACCER members should complete the
registration form and send it to
membership@primr.org, noting their membership status with CAREB-ACCER.
Do not register online.
*In-person registration closes on December 1; virtual meeting registration closes on December 6.
**We are not offering one day rates or a two day rate that is only December 5-6.
***Government Rate: Applies to anyone working for a Federal Government Agency. Before registering, email us from your government email address to request access. Once your employment is confirmed, you will be notified that you can register.
****Student Rate: Available to anyone enrolled full-time in a high school or college/university at the time of the conference. Before registering, email us a copy of your student enrollment. After this information is received, you will be notified that you can register.
*****Emerging Professional Rate: Available for those individuals who will be 30 or younger at the time of the conference. Before registering, email us a copy of a government issued photo ID that includes your birthdate. After this information is received, you will be notified that you can register. There is not an Emerging Professionals rate for the Virtual Meeting.
Scholarship Programs: For those seeking financial assistance, PRIM&R will offer Institutional Capacity Building and General Conference Scholarship Programs.

Group discount: For every 10 individual registrations purchased by a single institution (in-person, virtual, PRIMR23, SBER23.), we will provide one free additional registration equal to or less than the most expensive registration in the group.
To participate: register and pay for the first 10 individuals online
first, then send proof of registration and payment to
registration@primr.org. Once your purchase is verified, we will provide instructions for using your free registration(s). Institutions that have multiple campuses/branches need to confine registrations to their campus/branch.
The free registration must be processed before the conference happens.
Payment Options
- Online Registration: Please register online and note the following:

--Payment options include credit card at time of checkout, check (address listed below), or ACH or wire transfer (banking information below).
--To pay by check, ACH, or wire transfer, select the “Invoice Me” option on the checkout page, enter your PO number, and then mail the check to the address listed below or pay by ACH or wire transfer using information below (if you don’t have a PO number, type “check/ACH/wire forthcoming” in the PO field). Please include the sales order number from your invoice on the payment remittance so we know where to apply payment.
--If you need to pay for multiple people in one payment, have each person register themselves and send you the invoice. Once all invoices are received, mail the check to the address listed below or pay by ACH or wire transfer using information below (if you don’t have a PO number, type “check/ACH/wire forthcoming” in the PO field). Please include the sales order numbers from the invoices on the payment remittance so we know where to apply payment.
- Register by PDF Registration Form: For those unable to use online registration because of extenuating circumstances, download the registration form, complete a form for each individual, and email us the forms by December 1. If you'll be paying by credit card, a PRIM&R staff member will contact you. Checks can be sent to the address listed below (please include the sales order number on checks remittance so we know where to apply payment).
