CE/CIP/CPIA Credits

Certificates of Attendance/Session Transcript

If you have previously completed evaluations for both the overall conference AND individual sessions, then your Certificate of Attendance* is ready to be downloaded (available for download until December 3, 2024; after thisdate, follow the instructions below):

• Log into your conference attendee profile
• Click on the evaluation tile on the homepage
• Download your certificate of attendance

*This Certificate of Attendance includes a Conference Session Transcript, which can be used for CIP/CPIA recertification purposes. 
 
For attendees who did not complete evaluations prior to the deadline, in order to receive credits for sessions attended during PRIMR23/SBER23, download the Conference Session Transcript* and follow the instructions listed on thisform. You can find a PDF version of the PRIMR23/SBER23 Agenda here**.

*If you are using credits from PRIMR23/SBER23 for CIP/CPIA recertification, submit the Conference Session Transcript as documentation for your PRIMR23/SBER23 conference attendance.
** If you are seeking to use credits for recertification purposes, do not submit any conference agendas that have been highlighted to note which sessions were attended. 

Continuing Education (CE) Credit

Certificates of attendance are useful for obtaining CE credits from professional associations. Each association's guidelines for accepting CE credit hours (in-person or virtual) may differ; consult the appropriate association representative for information as to if, and how many, CE credits from PRIMR23, the PRIMR23 Workshops, and/or SBER23 may be used. 

Note: We do not offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits. Please contact the ACCME to determine if, and how many, credits from this educational offering can be used toward CME recertification.

Certified IRB Professional (CIP®) Recertification Credit

Credit hours from PRIMR23, select PRIMR23 Workshops, and/or SBER23 may be used by CIPs who are eligible to recertify by CE. Sessions that meet CIP® recertification requirements are designated with a  icon on the agenda. 

The following number of CIP credits* can be earned from these offerings:

Certified Professional in IACUC Administration (CPIA®) Recertification Credit

Credit hours from PRIMR23 and select PRIMR23 Workshops may be used by CPIAs who are seeking recertification by CE credits. Sessions that meet CPIA® recertification requirements are designated with a  icon on the agenda.
